We all have seen the information on Chris Johnson Rb Tenn. None of us are all that surprised about it either, he has been over producing vs. his rookie contract.

However, is he the only one holding out?

One rumor at PFT has Andre Johnson Wr Hou not happy at all with his contract. Could this be the next holdout threat?

Just figured we do this all in one thread to save space......

I believe Andre Johnson is only 3 years into his current 8 year deal worth 60 million.

IMO any player that has a majority of his contract left to fulfill as A.Johnson does should not be looking to get any pay raise until 3/4 of it complete, he knew that he was signing a long contract and should have thought about it a little harder as things can change.

This thread should be titled
The NFL Multi-Millionaire Cry Baby Club

Well we can add two cleveland players now - D'Qwell Jackson LB and Phil Dawson PK are both saying they will hold out till they get new contracts.

rotoworld,

Andre Johnson will report to Texans Organized Team Activities on Thursday, ending his brief "holdout."

Johnson's uncle and agent, Andre Melton, has been granted a meeting with Texans GM Rick Smith, so A.J. is backing off his supposed holdout. It was never really a "holdout," though, because OTAs are voluntary. Unsurprisingly, Johnson is being his professional self by reporting to the team despite being severely underpaid. He remains our No. 1 fantasy wide receiver for 2010. May. 19 - 7:29 pm et

rotoworld,

Andre Johnson joined the Texans for OTAs on Thursday, as expected.

Johnson made it clear that he's underpaid and now he's back at work. The workouts are voluntary, so there is no discipline whatsoever coming down on Johnson. As one of the most professional receivers around, we don't expect Johnson to stage a holdout at training camp and he's the clear No. 1 fantasy wide receiver heading into the season.

rotoworld,

After returning to practice Thursday, Andre Johnson suggested that he's through with protests over his contract situation.

"I didn't feel right being at home," Johnson said. "I never miss OTAs. I've always been here, so I came in. I'm man enough to say that it was (out of character for him to be a no-show). I'm disappointed about it." How refreshing. Johnson added that he still hopes to restructure his contract, and he wants to be with the Texans until he retires.

rotoworld,

Andre Johnson has hired agent Kennard McGuire to replace his uncle, Andre Melton, as his contract negotiator.

According to ESPN's Michael Smith, McGuire has a positive working relationship with the Texans. The move figures to be a good one for Johnson, who is seeking a raise and has leverage as the best receiver in the league.
