Sorry to post this here too, but I can't seem to get an answer, and Iv'e posted it 4 or 5 times now. Does anyone have any idea why Pierre Thomas didn't play until the second half?
It remains a mystery. The starter in NO is clearer though. (In my mind)All I can find , so far.
Thomas (knee) ran for 126 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns in Sunday's 27-7 win at Buffalo. Analysis: Thomas received all 14 of his carries in the second half to help New Orleans pull away. Not sure what took the Saints so long to get Thomas involved on Sunday, but he looked like the running back that many fantasy owners expected to see. Lynell Hamilton ran for a touchdown in the first half and Reggie Bush finished with 13 rushes for 64 yards, but most of their work came over the first 30 minutes.
Pierre Thomas revealed that he needed an IV just prior to Sunday's win because he became dehydrated.
According to PFT he had the flu. So he was dehydrated due to the flu...it explains why they held him off til the 2nd half also. How do you get dehydrated before the game starts :hmmm:
I guess it is different weather than we get up here dunno:
Would nerves come into play here? How do you get dehydrated before the game starts :hmmm:
