Pick up Booker?

As a CJ Anderson owner I can pick up Booker as a free agent without losing my waiver priority.

With bye weeks not a problem for my team, who thinks I should do this? If yes, who should I drop?

PPR

My roster at RB and WR is:

CJ
L Miller
C Mike
Riddick
Dixon

AJ Green
M Jones
Cobb
Beasley
C Coleman

The obvious question is: Who would you drop?

Though picking up Booker isn't a "bad" idea, I'd call it a luxury especially if this is a redraft league.

Yes on redraft.
Not sure if your advice would be to do it or not.
If I do it, I think I would drop Dixon because my other RBs have solid shares of snap counts and all have different bye weeks.

*I* Wouldn't do it but I'm not putting myself on the hot seat for this one. You're basically asking me if I think CJ will get injured or not.

I'll screw up a 1 week play for you but I can't be held accountable for your entire season. :D

That's cool. I've always been non-committal about RB handcuffs.

Sometimes I think it's a good idea when you have the roster space, and sometimes I go with higher upside and/or depth to cover bye weeks.

I kind of like the security of this handcuff because of Bookers talent, uptick in usage lately, Denvers commitment to the run game, and CJs track record of tailing off as the season wears on.

Injuries are not predictable (Arian Foster aside), but I think Dixon is expendable in this situation.

I'm just wondering if there is any strong Outlaw opposition to this move before I make it.

it depends on how you feel. Per all reports, Dixon could take over in Bal at some point, he only has to beat out West.

Booker however WILL take over if CJ gets hurt.

You have to decide which Rb future insurance you want.

I think both will be pretty close, but I would lean Dixon.
