Well, we got some definitive information this week.....
NFC East - ONE team does want to win, and got a key victory, that is the Giants. Philly tried to win, but then gave it away, as an Eagles fan, i am ready for them to tank rest of year to get a real Qb in there. Washington showed real heart to win their game, but then again, it was Tampa, and they still suck. Dallas needs Romo.
NFC North- Packers remain undefeated(they did have a bye...sheesh), but Minny had a solid win, love what they are doing there with Diggs. Rest of the North are shooting for a high draft pick next year.
NFC South - Carolina with another key win and with a solid running game and defense. Atlanta is still there, and a pretty easy schedule. Key will be their head to head games near end of season. Tampa needs more, and will win a few more games but not much. Saints with key win, but they are too far back.
NFC West - Arizona is the best franchise here, and Palmer is once again keeper of the fountain of youth, but seems to have shared it with CJ2K which is nice of him . Seattle wins and no one cares. St. Louis is better with Gurley, but still needs Wrs and Qb.
AFC East - this just in , NE is really, really good but Jets played them well....with Fitzgerald at Qb. Miami wins 2nd in a row, but can they beat a real team..we find out this week. Buffalo is a mess, how do you not have a better defense Rex?
AFC North - Bengals had bye, and now take on Pittsburgh who desperately needs a win and may have Big Ben back(those of us who are Brown owners are praying it is so...). Cleveland and Baltimore are just messes. Will Cleveland start Manziel? By all reports they want to dump him now, as he has relapsed...we will see. Watch him have a break out game and really mess with this franchise more.....naw just kidding.
AFC South - I honestly think this division winner will be below 0.500 what a mess. Houston is now locked on Hoyer and jetisoned late Mallett. Jacksonville keeps showing promise, have solid young Qb, Wrs and Rb. Need more Line on both sides and depth on def. They will get there. Tennessee is still in rebuild mode.
AFC West - Denver with bye is still undefeated, but they have GB this week...so one of the two will fall, I think it is Denver. Don't look now, but them rascally wabbits of Oakland are sneaking back in the picture. Solid young Qb, stud Wr in A.Cooper and a running game.... kind of fun to watch. KC is a hot mess with Charles out and Maclin dinged...but had a nice game by West. SD just can't buy a win, that is what happens when you go Indy and have great offense but lousy defense.
Expectations:
GB stays undefeated, as does Carolina, New England and Cincinnati(yep you heard it here first).
Playoffs:
AFC - East - NE
AFC- North - Cincy
AFC - South- Indy(under 0.500)
AFC - West - Denver
WC - Jets and Steelers(if Big Ben can stay healthy)
NFC East - Giants
NFC North - GB
NFC South - Carolina
NFC West - Arizona
WC - Atlanta(due to schedule), Vikings
I am feeling some coaching moves coming soon, very soon. I see Detroit has panicked and cut all O coaches, Indy will be needing a new HC soon(and maybe GM if what I hear is true with the fight with ownership), Houston may not wait on O'brian...and Miami will have to decide on Campbell eventually. But don't be surprised if Indy does not make a move soon.
