Peterson out for a While

Adrian Peterson continued his unlucky streak against the Redskins by injuring his knee in today's game. The extent of the injury is not known just yet, but it could be very bad -- likely more than an ACL.

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament as well as other ligament damage in Week 16.



A.P. draft position will take a hit next season as he'll be unlikely to be active for the early season games. Too bad this happened to the young man.

I've gone through the surgery and rehab for a torn ACL -- it isn't a lot of fun. He will hopefully come back as strong as ever.
