Multiple media outlets are reporting USC Head Coach Pete Carroll, arcitect of a return to dominence for the Trojans, has submitted his resignation.
It is believed Carroll is going to accept the head coach position of the NFLs Seattle Seahawks.
A meeting was/is scheduled between Carroll and his current USC staff for this afternoon. Sources report the original intent of the meeting was off season planning but is now expected to be a goodbye.
A meeting with the team is also today ahead of a news conference late Monday.
Its also being reported USC OC Jeremy Bates and LB Coach Ken Norton Jr will be resigning and headed to Seattle with Carroll.
Lending credence to this is the fact Bates cancelled an interview with the Chicago Bears for their vacant offensive coordinator position.
