Pennington out for the year

Being reported he has a torn capsule in throwing shoulder he will be getting a second opinion. Henne will be the starting QB and Pat white will be the back up.

:wow: This kills all the value for the Wrs and Tes on this team. Nothing against Henne...I think eventually he may be solid...but he will need time...and Miami is not that good. I also think this will kill the running game too. Not good for Miami now

Pennington Likely Done for the Season

Reports from Miami are that Chad Pennington will likely miss the rest of the season. He was diagnosed with a torn capsule in his throwing shoulder. Pennington, who has had surgery twice already on the same shoulder, will seek a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews, the same doctor who performed the previous two surgeries on the QB. Chade Henne will likely be the starter in Miami for the remainder of the season.

short term as in the next few weeks you are dead on with the WR's (inexperienced QB's can be an asset to TE's); but after a few weeks of experience this may be good for the WR's as henne does have a better arm and can make more throws, may be a blessing for them in the end.

I bet they still bring someone in for a fall back plan.

Could be right. He might develop. My concern is their schedule...they play some beasts in the East with NE some what back, Jets much improved...hell...even Buffalo looks some what better.

I am an Ohio State grad...but love to see another Big 10 player do well, hopefully this is the start of a long good solid QB streak for Miami

Oh Goodness..... Here we go again. Chad's probably got a place on his mantel he's trying to fill with his 3rd Comeback Player of the Year Award in like 2012.
