The New England Patriots agreed to terms with free-agent WR Brandon Lloyd Saturday, March 17. The deal is for three years and $12 million. Lloyd has excelled in Josh McDaniels offenses, and with McDaniels now calling the shots in New England he's poised for success. Of course, he'll have to battle Wes Welker, Rob Gronkowski, and Aaron Hernandez for Tom Brady's attention.

The New England Patriots have signed free-agent WR Anthony Gonzalez. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Gonzo Lite is alive again!

12 mil for three years is less than what the Skins paid for Morgan.
Lloyd brings Welker game injected with a deeper stretch and crazy-circus catch.

I read the former Buckeye as backup with zero fantasy value

I like the pickup for the Pats. I thought Lloyd would be picked up by the Pats the whole time. Let's see if Gonzo Lite with rejuvenate his career, or start it.

To me, this was a must for Lloyd. Bet he took less to go there, he has no relevance if his OC isn't there.

nice pick ups on both fronts. Gonzo Lite just seems like someone who could thrive in that system if he could stay healthy.
