I feel Maroney will produce the least of the 4.

Patriots | Maroney could be used as returner Sun May 24, 03:07 PM
Christopher L. Gasper, of the Boston Globe, reports New England Patriots RB Laurence Maroney could be used as a kickoff returner this season.
Our view: Ah, how the mighty have fallen. Maroney was once thought of to be the RB of the future for the Patriots and now is 4th on the depth chart on a team that will most likely be a 3-headed RBBC. The Patriots will now see if Maroney can help out on special teams rather than carry the load in the running game.

Patriots | Taylor does not know when he will retire Sun May 24, 02:20 PM
Vito Stellino, of The Florida Times-Union, reports New England Patriots RB Fred Taylor said he does not know how many more years he will play in the NFL. 'I can't put a number on it, but I've always said I'll run until the wheels fall off. If you're going to drive, get [tire] rotations or whatever, but when those tires come off, you're in trouble. I'm going to keep going forward,' Taylor said.
Our view: Besides chasing after Jim Brown on the career rushing list, Taylor also wants a Super Bowl ring before his career is over. If the Patriots were to win another title in 2009 we could easily see Fred Taylor calling it a career.

Patriots | Taylor would like to pass Brown on rushing list Sun May 24, 02:09 PM
Vito Stellino, of The Florida Times-Union, reports New England Patriots RB Fred Taylor said one of the goals left in his career is to pass former RB Jim Brown on the all-time rushing yards list. Taylor is currently in 16th place with 11,271 yards while Brown is in eighth place with 12,312 career yards.
Our view: Taylor only needs 1,042 rushing yards to top Jim Brown and it's not a stretch of the imagination to project him at that - or more - for the upcoming season. He will be the lead back in the Patriots RBBC but he's likely to be replaced by Kevin Faulk on 3rd downs, and at the goalline by Sammy Morris or Laurence Maroney.

Memo to Fragile Fred:

Jim Brown played just 8 years in an era where they only played 12 game schedules.

You're no Jim Brown.
