The Panthers have announced that Mat Moore is to be there QB as.... WR Steve Smith returns to practice.

The Gaston Gazette confirms that Smith "is expected to play" in Week 7 against San Francisco. "I feel like I'm healthy," said Smitty. "I'm out of the boot and I don't have much pain so I'm able to move around. I feel good."

They hooked up for TD's a couple of times late last season so maybe this will jump start their offense. BTW once again Smith returns to action way before he had been predicted to be ready. The man is fast at getting over his mounting injuries.

Im all for this because I need his underpeforming butt for bye week coverage, but this team is a total lame duck death trap.

They should trade Steve Smith and DWill, then set their charges and blow it up.

Get some youthful talent to go along with a not that bad D and begin a new with the Chin in 2011, unless he is coaching Dallas.

Has anyone actually watched a Carolina game? I was surprised to see that Brandon LaFell has 23 targets but only 5 catches in 4 games played. I am assuming this is the QBs fault but was curious to hear if anyone has actually seen any panther action.

Ive seen limited action. Very ugly. I cant put all the blame on the WRs though, the whole offense sucks
