Packers WR Jordy Nelson # 2 ?

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel believes Jordy Nelson "needs to be on the field on running and passing downs" in 2011. Beat writer Tom Silverstein believes Nelson has "the No. 2 position in his sights" after a strong postseason run. Silverstein further believes that Donald Driver "will have to give way" to Nelson -- and perhaps James Jones -- in playing time next season.

James Jones could be gone via Free Agency even though the Packers would probably love to re-sign him cheaply. Last year, most drafted Jennings, Driver and then Jones. Last year Nelson was one of the better Waiver Wire pickups for those who work the WW hard.

I have had Jordy Nelson on my dynasty league roster in Hired Guns for a few years. Kid is explosive, and I think he is the much better talent to have over Jones, who I think they don't even re-sign.

-- Packers WR Update --
Fri Apr 15, 2011 --from FFMastermind.com
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports the future is cloudy at the wideout position for the Packers due to WR Donald Driver’s advanced age and WR James Jones’ possible departure. Barring a sudden end to the lockout, GM Ted Thompson won’t know for sure if he’ll have Jones this season. What’s more, WR Jordy Nelson will be a free agent after this year and WR Greg Jennings will be the year after that. So it’s time to start addressing this position. After his terrific Super Bowl performance and strong showing in the post-season (tied with Jennings for team lead with 21 receptions and second in yards per catch at 13.6) the No. 2 position in his sights. He needs to cut down on his drops, but he’s a capable blocker and needs to be on the field on running and passing downs. The indefatigable Driver hasn’t had a 100-yard game in forever and will have to give way to the others more next season. If the Packers had their druthers, they’d take Jones back. They probably value him more than other teams around the league and don’t seem put off by his adrenaline-draining drops. So, it’s very possible he’ll be back. But it takes just one team to create an inflated market and the Packers would drop out at a certain level. Swain may have to fight off Robinson and West, two competitive practice-squad players, in camp.

This update gives us a bit more context. I feel jones is the superior WR. That's just my opinion, but he could easily be gone. I feel they take Greg Little in round two, and he is better than both of them.
