Packers signed head coach Mike McCarthy to a three-year extension through 2015. The deal, expected to be worth $5 million a year, has been in the works for weeks. McCarthy, 47, has accumulated a 53-34 (playoffs and regular season) record in five years while earning a reputation as one of the NFL's top playcallers. He's 5-2 in the playoffs, padding that mark with a 4-0 run as the NFC's 2010 Wild Card representative and Super Bowl XLV title.
