Orton declared Broncos starter

Doogie went with his guy early. Orton has been named the starter for the Broncos. His value won't be that of a sleeper because damn near everyone is talking about him this off season. However, if you are in the market for a low end qb with potential he'd be your boy. Eddie Royal is solid and if Sheffler sticks around he could also be solid. Jabar Gaffney may be key in teaching the rest of the wr's Doogie's gameplan but overall won't be much of a playmaker.

I will need to see some preseason games from Orton to believe he will flourish and improve to above 60% completion rate which is the standard mark for all NE style offensive qb's.

Orton in Denver is like Raisins in your Fruit Loops...

It might be REALLY good but I'm not terribly excited about trying it.

No prayer needed - Orton isn't exactly a sleeper but Simms may prove to be a great late round flyer.
