OG Chester Pitts to meet with Lions

(Rotoworld) Free agent OG Chester Pitts revealed that he has a visit scheduled with the Lions next Wednesday. Analysis: He's also scheduled to visit the 49ers next week. Recovering from microfracture surgery, Pitts has drawn cursory interest from the Bengals, Dolphins, Seahawks and Texans. If he can return to pre-injury form, Pitts would be a major upgrade at left guard for the Lions.


IF he can recover from the injury and return to form, it would be another good pick up for the Lions

he's been a fixture at LG for the texans until his injury . . . i'm hoping his recovery goes well and he resigns with the texans . . . great character guy and locker room presence . . . the texans signed OG/C wade smith from kc, but i was hoping he'd be a replacement for RG biesel who the texans did not tender.

It could be a nice grab, making the running game improve and get some more time for the QB.
