New York Giants WR Domenik Hixon (knee) injured his left knee during afternoon practice Tuesday, June 15, reports Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News. The usual senario now is 24 hrs for swelling to go down and then an MRI and we will know how bad it is.

Ouch! From a Giants point of view at least Nicks is getting better.

rotoworld,
Giants WR/KR Domenik Hixon suffered a knee injury Tuesday, the severity of which is still unknown.

Hixon caught his foot in the new FieldTurf while fielding a punt. He remained down for a couple of minutes before limping off. "We're hoping that it's not something serious," said coach Tom Coughlin. "I think he’ll be sore tomorrow. The extent of it, I'm not sure right now."

Oh Yeah, It's not like we haven't been lied to before. :xpissed:

But still it gives us 24 hours of speculation.

Pretty good entertainment for this time of the season.

:xpopcorn:

rotoworld,
Domenik Hixon suffered a right knee hyper-extension on Tuesday, according to GM Jerry Reese.

Hixon can breath a sigh of relief because he didn't tear any ligaments. The standout special-teamer should have no problem being ready for training camp.

Domenik Hixon out for the season.

rotoworld,
Updating a previous item, Giants KR Domenik Hixon will miss the entire 2010 season with a torn ACL.

Updating a previous item, Giants KR/PR Domenik Hixon will miss the entire 2010 season with a torn right ACL.

Initial reports had Hixon suffering only a knee hyperextension at Tuesday's practice, but it turns out that the hyperextension resulted from the ACL tear. Hixon's loss is a big blow to New York's special teams, as he ranked second in the league in punt return average (15.1) last year, behind DeSean Jackson.

cbssports.com,
Giants WR Domenik Hixon has a torn ACL, the team announced on Wednesday. Hixon fell to the turf while returning a punt during the team's first practice at New Meadowlands Stadium Tuesday. He's expected to land on season-ending injured reserve.

Analysis: Hixon's absence will hurt the Giants more than Fantasy owners since he was a candidate to return kickoffs and punts this season. He's safe to leave off of Fantasy rosters this season.
