A topic that comes up over and over is when will Notre Dame make the smart business decision and join a conference.
Thanks to Texas (though I disagree with the decision), the mass transit we expected to see this summer just ended up being a few migrations.
I would anticipate with TV deals coming up for renewal within the next two to three seasons, and the possibility of an expansion of the BCS, the Fighting Irish may find it a bit tougher to schedule quality BCS opposition on a consistent basis, especially out of the Big Ten. I also dont see the Big 12(10) truly holding together past 2016.
Granted, they just signed a contract for four losses later this decade and next to Texas, but overall when, if ever, will the Domers go to the Big Ten?
