Not bad for an autopick....1st draft this year.

I had my first draft Saturday and because something came up I had to do the stupid autopick from my rankings.....

I was actually surprised it came out much better than I thought.

10 team league that starts QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, W/T, W/R, K, def.
(that's right, you don't have to play a TE)

QB - Rodgers, Hassleback

RB - Forte, Gore, Pierre Thomas, Fred Jackson, Mendenhall, Ricky Williams

WR - D. Bowe, DeSean Jackson, Santana Moss, Torry Holt, Justin Gage

K - Rackers, Gould

Def - Giants, Patriots

If I had actually participated in the live draft I know I would have done better. Probably could have gotten Greg Jennings in the 3rd instead of Pierre.

Stupid autodraft also picked a kicker in the 9th rd where I could have gotten Devin Hester. I'm sure I would have managed better value picks in the later rds (10-17) than autodraft.

I definately would not have picked 2 kickers and 2 defenses.

Yeah that's why I wish I could have participated in the live draft. Looking at the results of the draft I know I could have snagged Greg Jennings and Devin Hester. May have had to give up P. Thomas but I could live with that.

I have plenty of trade ideas. This is a new league for me so I will have to feel the other owners out and see how they like to roll.

I don't have much trepidation about this league. Some of the owners made some strange draft moves. One guy picked Brady and Warner as his first and second pick. Another guy went all stud WRs and ended up with Andre Johnson, Randy Moss and Steve Smith but his best RB is Fred Taylor.

Oh yes there are some trade possibilities, I just have to see how willing they are to deal.
