Not a great week for RBs

Shane Vareen was the only RB to rush for 100 yards so far this week. That's pretty bizarre.

Maybe McCoy, Morris, or Foster/Tate can break that mark. I doubt Mathews will!

You said it yourself though, Washington had a top 5 rush defense last year. It will take a few weeks before we discovered whether or not Washington's D remains the same or is now terrible.

I have to agree with you though. If Im a McCoy owner, I want to see that carry range more in the 18-25 range per game. He'll miss at least 3 games this year at this rate.

Mccoy averaged 6 yards a carry against a good defense, so even at 20 carries a game, still good.

Plus, I would guess that will be a season low in receptions.

I was thinking/wondering the same thing. Maybe he's not supposed to be used as much in the passing game in this offense though. Would be a waste of his talents in my opinion.

1 reception...oh well, I can shrug that off. But 1 target?? Hmmmmm

Washington played three teams in the preseason that din't exactly tear things up rushing in Week 1. Yet the Redskins allowed 5.0 yards per carry to Tennessee, 5.2 yards per carry to Pittsburgh, and 4.8 yards per carry to Buffalo.

I really should have kept that in mind when putting McCoy on the stinker list this week.

I just don't think it will be his last appearance.

Axually.... at the end of the third quarter he was at 7.0 yards per carry ave. I was in awe of some of the moves he made against Orakpo....it was scary
