(FFToolbox) Four more years! Four more years! That's the chant for San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner on Monday. The team announced Monday night that Turner's contract, which had one season remaining, has been extended through the 2013. "I'm extremely proud of the job Norv has done with this team," team president Dean Spanos in a statement issued by the team. "In three seasons he's led the team to three division titles. I'm confident that if we strengthen our roster and continue to provide Norv the assets he needs, this team will have continued success." Turner has guided the Chargers to three AFC West titles in his three seasons as their head coach. He is 3-3 in the playoffs and his .667 winning percentage (32-16) in the regular season is best in franchise history.

This was a good move IMO. Norv's been good for the Chargers and San Diego. The fans there really like him and he does a stellar job of growing players, for the most part. I would have liked to see LT and MT as a two-headed rabid dog but oh well, Atlanta is sure thankful for the trade.
