No more 7 step drops for Cutler

In a move that Bears fans and myself should applaud O.C. Mike Tice has eliminated the 7 step drops from the offensive plans. This move should help the Bears poor pass blocking line give a little better protection to Cutler. It really can't get much worse since Cutler was sacked 23 times in 10 games last year.

cutler definitely didnt play 15 games last year unfortunately... but we can file this one in the no-brainer category... thanks mike tice, too bad the "genius" martz couldnt figure it out

he did play 15 games in '10 (i think) and got hit a whole bunch also, missing one game with concussion... The saints mauled his ass last year im surprised he made it through

i would think that and far less intricate routing will help immensely... in this day and age im not sure the beefiest of lines could recreate the martz turf system

This is good news for Cutler's fantasy value IMO......if the receivers can get open he could have a very nice year.
