Nicks & Bennett both practiced today

The jury is still out on both players but it looks like both have a real shot at playing this week. Nicks was said to look really good but the key with him is whether or not his knee swells after the practice. I could use a healthy Nicks.

Bennett came outa nowhere and really helped me at just the right time... now it seems he's headed back from where he came... nowhere

He'll likely be used mainly to block if he plays this week.

Nicks made it through a second straight practice today and will be listed as questionable for the Sunday afternoon game. He'll likely play but grab one of the other three lessor WR's for the NYG's to CYA.

rotoworld:

Hakeem Nicks (knee/foot, questionable) confirmed that he emerged from Friday's practice experiencing no pain or setbacks.
"I feel good about it," Nicks said. "We'll see how I respond in the morning and then they'll let me know. ... I think I've got a pretty good shot." We like Nicks' chances of returning Sunday against the 49ers, as well, although it's a late-afternoon game and he'll officially be a game-time decision. Domenik Hixon would be fantasy owners' best insurance policy behind Nicks.
Randle might be decent saftey net for Nicks as well.
