Jayden Daniels looked really good last night. Missed a wide open McLaurin for a long TD or his night would have been even bigger. Hurried the throw a bit. The 55 yarder to Terry was a thing of beauty. No question about his arm strength.

Really like the two Monday Night games. Since the Bills were absolutely rolling the Jags, nice to have another game to switch over to. I know if will never happen due to revenue, but would love to see them get rid of Thursday night football and go to two Monday night games permanently.

WTF is wrong with the Bengals? I thought they would be a super bowl contender. They probably thought the Commanders followed by the Panthers would be two fairly easy wins. Lose to Washington and now the Panthers at home doesn't look like a gimme. Ravens after that. Could be 0-5 and playing out the string. Defense is terrible. Maybe give Chase Brown a bigger role and see if he can make some big plays. Their offense will have to score in the mid 30's every week to have a chance. Also, throw the ball to Ja'Marr more than 7 times. Jesus.

49ers lose Hargraves for the season. McCaffrey off to Germany in search of a fix for his foot. Aiyuk looks slow and out of shape. Deebo banged up. Kittle banged up. Secondary playing like crap. Greenlaw not back until mid season. Looks bad but I think they can hang in until they get heathier and still battle for a playoff spot. Brock looked great last week. 22/30 despite 4 drops. 137 rating. 11 yards ADT and ZERO off target throws. And they lost

And speaking of the Bills. Damn, they look good. Shakier is amazing and can't wait for a game where they have to compete the 2nd half. He was 6/74/1 at halftime and his run after the catch on the TD was fun to watch. But up 31 points at halftime over the hapless Jags, no action in the 2nd half. Very similar to last week when they rolled the Dolphins. James Cook looks great too. Putting up big numbers in basically half a game.

He is a whole lot more pro-ready than I ever thought. He had an amazing game last night

Agree, love the chance to watch a competitive game if the other gets too lopsided or boring, also agree cost will probably hinder this...

Defense can't stop anyone who can run, putting way too much pressure on an offense that is fluid(yeah I used this on purpose :D ) as Higgins was out for "injury" and Chase missed most camp due to contract. The O-line is STILL an issue, and the loss of Mixon seems to not want them to run as much.

Niners are definitely hurting. Nice to see Brock perform missing a ton of talent. What about Juan Jennings!! Talk about stepping up!

Sooo many tools on offense, love what Cook is doing, and Shakir, and Kincaid..... just solid, solid team. Just need Josh to do what he is doing, and going with what the defense gives him and not force things.

Where do I begin?

Like every year, offense was unprepared for the beginning of the season (despite making it a big deal to show Joe Burrow taking preseason snaps). Chase contract situation, Higgins FT, Hendrickson deal, etc. all smell to me like players are frustrated. I get that these are grown men, signed contracts, etc etc etc. - buuuutttt at the same time this is a front office that does things THEIR way. Had to be difficult for Chase to sit and watch every WR get extended (including his BFF Jetta), but he's stuck at $6M this year while others are getting near $30M. They have probably made it much more difficult to sign him long term with how badly management handled the situation.

Lou's defense has also been figured out to a degree. Defense cannot stop the run, cannot stop a mobile QB. Hendrickson only viable pass rusher (Hubbard looks SLOOOOW. Saw a Next Gen stat where he averaged 6 yards distance from Daniels on pass rushes, was 2nd worst rusher for the week). Guys (CTB) spending too much time giving other teams bulletin board material instead of focusing on fixing the issues).

Overall, comes down to a management/coaching issue. Zac Taylor is a player's coach, which works fantastic when you're winning. When you start losing, players lose focus real fast as there's a lack of accountability. Taylor has a 35-33-1 record as the coach when you remove the 2-14 season his first year (that netted Burrow). I don't think it's time to put warning flags up for him (Bengals are notorious for keeping coaches for WELL past their expiration date), but he does need to show that he's in control of the ship. Players need to shut up about the Twitter nonsense and talking about other teams' players and schemes and just play.

Fans will gripe about KC being handed the game by the refs, should have never been in their hands to begin with (missed FG/Burrow fumble/Chase penalty). Monday night was more of the same, missed opportunities (kicking FG's instead of scoring TD's). The season isn't completely lost yet (still a VERY easy schedule), but it will be fast if things don't get right in a hurry.
