So the new social craze is twitter....something I admit I have never done or even looked at a page until today. However, seems like many just can't get enough of this. So anyone here follow any NFL twitter pages? Who are the best ones?

Here are a few I found:

Roger Goodell (nflcommish) on Twitter
Chris Mortensen (mortreport) on Twitter
Peter King (SI_PeterKing) on Twitter
Rich Eisen (richeisen) on Twitter
Sirius NFL Radio (SiriusNFLRadio) on Twitter
Drew Rosenhaus (RosenhausSports) on Twitter
Adam Schefter (Adam_Schefter) on Twitter

Yeah, that is just the stock background. Definitely needs to be customized. Maybe there is a talent here within the forums that can hook us up ;)

Twitter is something that came from the void. It's one of those things that was just suddenly sold to us... I still don't see the point.

Lots of breaking information can be had on Twitter. Almost every big organization has jumped on board with it

OK but if there really is 'breaking information' on someone's Twitter page won't I hear about that from news organizations? The only thing it seems to be good for is political protesters who are living in a blacked out region (Iran).

There is far more to Twitter than the political messages that are being pushed.

Sure, big news will make the major news sites, but depending what you like to keep up with, following things like twitter and personal blogs tend to get you information much quicker.

There is also the remote possibility of opening up actual conversations with the people you see talking to you on TV.

As much time as I spend here, I think I have much better things to do with my time than that

My time is very limited lately, so I don't follow things as much as I used to, but having a somewhat back and forth conversation with one writer allowed me to post information relating to Dallas once in a while well before it became actual news.

I did bounce around Twitter help and found references to problems changing backgound colors and Uploading your own custom (Sports Outlaw) skins.

Joe Flint, of the Los Angeles Times, reports NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said players will not be allowed to use Twitter during games. Goodell said that while the league has not said anything official about Twitter, he expects it will soon. He thought the league's current policy about the use of electronic devices during the game would need to be updated for Twitter. Although the intent of the rules are clear, Goodell feels that the more specific you can be with the teams the better.

No TO scoring Tweets? :thud:

So just after signing up with Twitter last night I am loving it. I just found out Reggie Bush had to leave with a sore leg or ankle already deleted the text. addicted!
