Jesus. 28 million is a lot of scratch. Drug or gambling issues. Or both.

Car dealerships that Pierce agreed to financially back have defaulted on loans. so those are being called by the car companies. There seems to be some confusion on why its his wife filing the paperwork instead of Pierce himself.

NFL lost the anti-trust case for the Sunday ticket case. NFL was found guilty of breaking anti-trust rules. Jury awarded $4.696 Billion, but anti-trust laws triples that - to $14.088 Billion. There is a chance the Judge could throw that out, and NFL has already appealed the decision. IF this holds up as is each NFL team will be charged $440.25 million.

Wilson Sporting goods renewed its deal to be the official football supplier for the NFL

And if it does go through, which I think it will...eventually...it will be worth THOUSANDS per claim. Keep an eye on it folks.

First of all..

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Secondly, how could he ever ask his players to study film...it's 2024 and a Google search would end his credibility immediately.

Third...who the heck would hire him as a coach?

Ok edit...

He was a volunteer assistant coach for a HS in Mobile, AL.

He also apparently showed up to a team event this week and was told, again, you ain't welcome here.

Here's a breakdown:

JaMarcus Russell was fired as a volunteer assistant coach at his alma mater, Williamson High School in Mobile, Alabama, and is facing a lawsuit accusing him of taking a $74,000 check meant as a donation to the school.

"JaMarcus Russell was relieved of his volunteer coaching duties at Williamson High School during the fall of last year," Mobile County Public School officials told WKRG Sports.

A local business owner, Chris Knowles, wrote the $74,000 check, saying Russell approached him about a donation to help the Williamson football team purchase weight room equipment. The school allegedly never received the check, and Russell reportedly deposited it in a credit union and promptly withdrew $55,000 of it.

As someone who grew up in Northern California rooting for both Cal and Stanford (I know, I know) and then going to University of Oregon, this makes me sad.
