David Wilson RB NYG is reportedly having trouble with the playbook.

Michael FLOYF WR ARI remains stuck in the WR 4 position for the club.

Donnie Avery WR IND still has a hold of the WR 3 position for the Colts in spite of his hip injury.

Ronnie Hillman RB DEN is expected to miss this week preseason game. Injuries have reall set the young man back and he's got a long ways to go to climb the depth chart for the Broncs.

Tarvaris Jackson is reportedly on the block for the SeaHawks.

New offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer has redesigned the St. Louis offense to better fit quarterback Sam Bradford's skillset. Analysis: Bradford thrived in the Rams' West Coast-style offense as a rookie in 2010 but the team got away from that approach under offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels last season, causing Bradford to struggle. The expectation is that Bradford is going to throw lots of short screen passes this year, which should help improve his completion percentage while also keeping him upright and protected against unnecessary hits. Sounds like good news to me!

ESPN Radio 710 in Seattle reports Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch seems to have gained an extra burst of speed after arriving at camp with a slimmer physique than in past seasons.

ESPN.com's Mike Sando confirms RB Kendall Hunter "has enjoyed a tremendous camp" and will play a significant role this season.

While: Beat writer Matt Maiocco believes the 49ers will find a way to get the ball in rookie LaMichael James' hands a handful of times per game, but notes that Hunter is still the second-best back on the roster.

Raider RB Mike Goodson, who was taken to the hospital after suffering a neck injury at practice last week, returned to the field Wednesday, the San Jose Mercury News reports. Given how hard Goodson was rocked by the hit that sent him to the hospital, seeing him back Wednesday and reportedly making decisive cuts, is highly encouraging.

Kenny Britt (knee surgeries) was spotted running routes and catching balls following Wednesday's practice. Analysis: Britt is on active/PUP, meaning he can't work out with the team. But his twice surgically-repaired right knee is holding up well as he makes cuts. When asked when he would return to practice, Britt said, "sooner than you think."

Until the league suspends him again....

What's your guess PhiCin? I'm going with six minimum and eight more likely.

He has already had a 4 game if I am not mistaken, so that automatically calls for at least 6. My guess is though, since he is a repeat offender, that it will be 8

The only passes I remember him completing and the only routes the team seem to run last year were routes underneathe. That was the knock on the receiving crew. They couldn't stretch the field, and the one guy that could didn't have knees.(Denario) Was it 2 years ago that Clayton lit it up early stretching the field some?
