Team officials say that McFadden will not be held back in preseason.

Peyton says that he's still not near 100%. His arm strength still isn't there for the long throws so he's not making many of those in practice.

Antonio Gates seems to be running fine in camp with no sign of a limp.

Cardinal's coach Whisenhunt is said to "love" TE Rob Housler. You've heard me mention that name on this forum before. Don't forget it come draft day.

Tebow now weighs 251 pounds.

Dallas DA is undecided at this time as to whether to proceed with charges against Dez or let them drop. My $$ says they get dropped. I bet Jerry's does as well. Larry Hagmen may need to get involved here.

Andre Johnson can walk without limping.

Doug Martin continues to work as the #1 RB and draw rave reviews from everyone there.

RG III has had an up and down camp. I was reading some quotes from teammates yesterday that spoke of his great leadership abilities.

Coach says Hardesty is looking a bit better than in years past and that he's completely healthy.

Rideley is said to have been one of the "hot" players thus far in camp for the Pats.

Marcus Easley has been working in with the first-team offense early in Bills camp.

Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson practiced with the first team at wide receiver to kick off Rams camp.

David Nelson- Bills- will miss nearly a week with a strained tendon in his right leg.

Greg Little is working in the slot some early in Browns training camp.

Peter King says that RB Robert Turbin has been the most impressive rookie thus far for the SeaHawks.
He also insists that rookie Russell Wilson is in the race to be the starting QB.

Sidney Rice has not been cleared for contact though he is getting some practice in.

The Denver Posts says Manning and Decker are "clicking" in practice like they were already ready for the season. Mudd note: If Manning can't throw the long ball then Decker is the Bronco receiver to have on your fantasy team. Mark it down that I said that will you.

Mark Ingram is trading off practices in camp thus far. A full out practice session is followed by a limeted one and then back to full. The Saints have a goal of giving him 200 touches this season.

Austin Collie is being given every chance in the world to win the WR job opposite Reggie Wayne in Indy.

Jermichael Finley (concussion) was back at practice this morning.

Jaws says he can see some improvement in Tebow's throwing motion in camp. There was a lot of room for improvement though Jaws.

Coach Mike Mularkey said that Laurent Robinson has been disappointing to open Jaguars training camp. He has to make some plays the coach said.

Jets RB Bilal Powell is reportedly in the mix for third-down work. Ouch said Joe McKnight owners everywhere.

Devery Henderson is off to a bad, bad start at camp for the Saints. The Times-Pic said this "seemed to have reverted back to his earlier inconsistent years with dropped pass and incorrect route running." As I said on another thread about Henderson, concentration is a problem for the player. Again I say look for Henderson to have a struggle holding onto the WR 3 job in the Big Easy with Arrington and Toon nipping at his heels.

Danario Alexander (hamstring) did not practice as training camp opened for the Rams. Nothing new there. The guy is hurt, he's always hurt and I think he always will be. He'll be lucky to make the final 53.

In the Card's first scrimmage Saturday Ryan Williams scampered for a 44 yard run,, cutting normal and showing no illeffects from his torn patella he suffered a year ago. Williams refused to say that he's all the way back but he said he's close to it. Oh Beanie???

I have said it before, Williams is the best RB on the team, if he is truly healthy, he will take over, and never let Beanie back in the door.

Houston coaches are said to "love" undrafted rookie RB Jonathan Grimes and his downhill running. Likely a practice squad candidate but if Houston keeps 4 RB's he could find himself on the list.

The Miami Herald believes that Chad Johnson is the best WR practicing with Miami. Whether this is good news for Chad or bad news for the over all WR talent on the Fish remains to be seen.

The Cards listed Andre Roberts as a starter opposite Fitz with Doucett in the slot today. Floyd remains fourth in the pecking order.

FOX Sports reports Chargers Norv Turner expects Ronnie Brown to play a "major third-down role" for the Chargers this season.

Chris Johnson is quoted as saying that he expects to be much less involved in the passing game this year for the Titans.

Rich Eisen just said that Felix Jones did not pass his conditioning test, so we won't be seeing him in TC for a bit yet

Eagles WR Ronald Johnson was carted off the practice field with what was called a "gruesome" leg injury Monday. Reports say that his ankle could be heard cracking from the sideline.
