J.Russell should be proud that he is a starter even if its the "All Decade Disappointment Team"

D.McFadden (so far a bust), Brady Quinn, could make the squad as backups

Wasn't Ryan Leaf or Akili Smith in this decade? If so both or either were more a failure than Russell in my opinion.

QB - JaMarcus Russell, Oakland
QB - Michael Vick, Atlanta (for reasons off the field)

RB - Cadillac Williams, Tampa Bay (for a #5 pick has he ever completed a season as the starter?) William Green, Cleveland (all RB's that year selected ahead of Portis were disappointments)
RB - Chris Perry, Cincinnati (Headed south from U of M and was never heard or seen again) Ron Dayne, New York Giants (disappointing but had shown some promise early on and was thought highly enough to be given an opportunity after he left NY)

WR - Charles Rogers, Detroit (undisputed #1 WR on this team)
WR - David Terrell, Chicago (bumped up so the state of Michigan is well represented at the WR position)
WR - To soon to include Darrius Heyward-Bey, Oakland but he is a solid consideration after his 1st season. I would go with Matt Jones, Jacksonville ahead of Peter Warrick who was selected with an earlier pick because I bought into the hype that he could make the transition to being a full-time WR
WR - Sylvester Morris, Kansas City (a classic 1 and done player)

An Honerable Mention for WR Chad Jackson. A rare usage of a top pick by the Pats for a WR in 2006 2nd/36. Not only was Chad a major bust as a WR but the Pats traded up top grab him giving the Pack a second rounder ( 52/ Greg Jennings) and a third rounder.

The Pack stung them on that one!

Keep it going guys. Good stuff.

Boy some of this junk gives you a headache thinking about to when you drank the koolaid and they were soiling your fantasy rosters...

I think David Carr deserves an honorable mention. The first pick from 02' has been pretty disappointing.

M.Vick on the field as well with a lifetime 53.7% completion pct.

There are those who will argue Carr got his ass ruined in Houston.

Vick is a 3 time Pro Bowler and took his team to and won in the post season. He was drafted to run and make occasional throws.

I am one of those who agree that not all the blame is on Carr - I have been interested in seeing if riding the bench in NY has made him a more capable field general. Has not seen much playing time but it would get my attention if something were to eventually develop.

I agree that Vick can not be considered a bust for his on field performance just because his passing numbers left much to be desired. They guy did produce even if not in the ways a conventional QB does.

good call on Akili Phic. He was drafted in 99, but his failure was in this decade IMO.

Clarett is not a disappointment in the NFL, he ruined his life well before the joke of a draft pick in the 3rd rd.

While Warrick never lived up to the hype, he did have several OK years. There are a litter of first rd picks at WR, and even top 10 picks that didn't do even that. Williamson? Jackson (mentioned above), and there are plenty more that IMO should grace this team prior to Warrick.

All that ye need to make a change is gimme some stats :)
Warrick - 7 seasons, 275 rec, 2991 yds, 18 TD's (2 more ru TD's)
Best yr: 03 - 79 rec, 819 yds, 7 TD's
First 4 yrs, between 51 & 79 rec, and between 592 & 819 yds

want a replacement, not sure if this is the biggest one, but here is Reggie Williams:
5 seasons, 189 rec, 2322 yds, 18 TD's

Most catches in a yr - 52, most yds, 629, did have 10 TD's 1 yr....but only 8 the other 4....drafted 9th overall.

Or how about Troy Williamson:
5 seasons, 87 rec, 1131 yds, 4 TD's; drafted 7th overall

And is it too early to post the obvious....DHB???

Ill make the change. Wow.

Yeah, too early on DHB. Give him a year and he will head up the 2020 team.
