(RotoWire) Burleson is slated to have minor surgery on his right elbow, the Detroit Free Press reports. Analysis: Burleson, who hurt his elbow last November, has been dealing with periodic swelling, and as a result, will have the fluid drained from his elbow and a bursa sac removed. It remains to be seen if he will be limited at all once the Lions officially return to the field, but it will be a situation worth monitoring, especially with the upcoming introduction of rookie Titus Young to the Lions' wideout mix.

(FFToday) Receiver Nate Burleson said he's returning to Seattle to have a minor surgery on his right elbow. Burleson hurt the elbow in November against the Dallas Cowboys. It swells up periodically -- today, it looked like a softball -- and he has to have the fluid drained and a bursa sac removed. Analysis: If workouts were happening, Burleson would be on the sideline for a while but this shouldn't hamper the Lions' receiver once practice begins.

I looked up some stats and found that the Lions were #12 in passing yardage last year, a mild surprise. You need to keep an eye on Burleson and the rookie Young as this was a productive group even with a revolving door at QB.
