rotoworld,
Knowshon Moreno was carted off the field on Sunday with what appeared to be a right knee or ankle injury.

We don't want to sound a false alarm, but it doesn't sound good. Unable to put any weight on his right leg, Moreno had to be helped on to and off the cart by the training staff. We'll be anxiously awaiting a post-practice report.

cbssports.com,
Denver running back Knowshon Moreno was carted off the field after hurting his right leg Sunday, the first day of Broncos training camp. About an hour into the workout, Moreno caught a pass in 7-on-7 drills and turned upfield when his leg buckled. One first-hand account, from MaxDenver.com, reports that Moreno fell to the ground while trying to make a cut, and that he was unable to put any weight on the leg. He grimaced as he hopped into the team's headquarters for tests, hopping on one foot. The Broncos had no word on the severity of the injury as of early Sunday afternoon.

Analysis: Not helping matters was an injury to Moreno's backup, Correll Buckhalter, on the same day -- though his injury may not be quite as serious. Naturally, Moreno was slated to serve Fantasy owners as a low-end No. 1/top-end No. 2 Fantasy rusher, but if he's going to miss some time then that evaluation will change. We'll keep you posted as best we can on Moreno's status.

rotoworld,
A league source tells the Denver Post that Knowshon Moreno's left leg injury "appears to be serious." ESPN's Adam Schefter seconds the report.

Vic Lombardi of CBS 4 Denver reported that Moreno might have torn his ACL, but his story seemed shaky, and Lombardi "re-tweeted" the Denver Post's report that it's a hamstring injury. The Post is confident that Moreno's injury is to his hamstring -- not his knee. Still, Moreno is going to be sidelined indefinitely. We'll be on the lookout for more updates throughout the day.

Denver Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno (hamstring), as an update to previous reports, suffered what is believed to be a pretty good pop to his right hamstring, reports Mike Klis, of The Denver Post

rotoworld,
The Denver Post and NFL Network are both reporting that the Broncos fear Knowshon Moreno may have torn his hamstring Sunday.

He's undergoing an MRI today. A hamstring tear would explain the Post's use of the word "popped" when describing the injury, and could threaten Moreno's availability for the season opener. The Broncos feel much better about the health of Correll Buckhalter (leg, back), who was hospitalized briefly Sunday while dealing with numbness throughout the left side of his body.

Yeah, I'd say that a torn hamstring would threaten game 1. The curse of the DEnver RB's continues. Madden should just put them on his game every season.

man, this will be a big hit for sure to Denver. Sounds like Bucky will be OK, interesting to see how drafters react to Bucky's value.

Any other back in Denver? Westbrook landing?

Can Josina see into the future to tonight then???

I had the same thought but chalked it up to some folks saying dinner and others saying supper. He's west of Texas so ya gotta take it with a grain of salt, lol.

Maybe cbssports.com doesn't read rotoworld because they just posted this.

All indications are that RB Knowshon Moreno, who left practice on Sunday, has suffered a torn right hamstring and will, at minimum, miss the remainder of training camp. Moreno was carted off the field after hurting his right leg Sunday. About an hour into the workout, Moreno caught a pass in 7-on-7 drills and turned upfield when his leg buckled. He grimaced as he hopped into the team's headquarters for tests. Fellow RB Correll Buckhalter also was injured on Sunday, suffering an apparent back injury.

The latest cbssports.com release,
After being carted from practice on Sunday, the status of Knowshon Moreno's right hamstring has been up in the air. Moreno was hurt in a 7-on-7 drill when making a cut and his leg buckled. He could not put weight on his right foot, even hopping on his left foot to enter the team's facilities. While some have speculated that Moreno suffered a torn hamstring, KDVR-TV in Denver is reporting that Moreno's right hamstring is not torn, much to the relief of the coaching staff. Nothing definitive has been released regarding Moreno's injury.

(KFFL) Denver Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno (hamstring) is not expected to return to practice until after the team's second preseason game, reports The Denver Post's Mike Klis.
