Montario Hardesty on the bubble?

The Cleveland Plain Dealer is speculating that Montario Hardesty might not make the final roster this season. No doubt he's running 3rd at best behind Trent Richardson and Brandon Jackson and it doesn't take much of a stretch to see Chris Ogbonnaya (Dawg Bone) slide into the RB 3 postion for the Browns. None of Hardesty's salary is guaranteed this season.

Who'd have thunk that a couple of years ago?

Seems too early to bail when the other options haven't shown much with their opportunities.

Huh?
Brandon Jackson has been a solid back up, but was out last year with a bad toe. AS for Oba(whatchamacallit) he did fairly well. You know Trent is the man in Cleveland, so Jackson is a solid back up. I am surprised they have not grabbed more depth though.

I wasn't talking about Trent. He's the number 1. But Obo looked less than ordinary in action last year and Jackson managed to only carve out a niche as third down back in Green Bay. I can't see how either are more complete or an upgrade over Hardesty.

Well, considering Hardesty hasn't been able to YET stay on the field in any of his years in the NFL......I would say YOU would be an upgrade.

Yeah, injury history is an easy card to play, but Jackson was IRed before the season even started. It's a physical position and guys will get hurt.

Oh bullcrap. Really? In two years he has played a total of 9 games. He has done NOTHING, with only ONE game over a 4.5 ypc. Now, take into account the first year did not exist due to injury, and this is even more pathetic. Yeah...the injury card is easy to play....pfft.
