Well, it's Friday.... The day we typically receive our best intel of the week. Many players with minor injuries will sit out Wed. and Thurs. practices but Friday typically is practice to play day. Most teams require a player to participate if Fridays practice in order to play so most injury issies clear up after today. Except for GTD (Game Time Decisions) Here is some OUTS.

  • Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden (foot) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 9, and has been ruled OUT for Week 14.
  • Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 9, and has been ruled OUT for Week 14.
  • OaklandRaiders WR Jacoby Ford (foot) has been ruled OUT for Week 14 against the Packers. Analysis: Ford's return to individual drills on Friday may have been promising for his chances of playing in Week 15 versus Detroit, but apparently the Raiders never planned for Ford to face Green Bay. He still has no specific return date.
  • Oakland Raiders WR Denarius Moore is OUT. So much for their returns to individual workouts on Friday. Moore actually returned to the game after spraining his ankle two weeks ago, but the Raiders appear to be exercising an awful lot of caution. Darrius Heyward-Bey will start in Moore's place. Ford will be replaced by Chaz Schilens
  • Saints RB Mark Ingram (toe) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
  • Packers RB James Starks (ankle) won't play (OUT) Sunday against the Raiders, the Packers' official site reports. Starks' absence opens the door for Ryan Grant and Brandon Saine, as well as John Kuhn to a lesser degree, to see expanded duties in Week 14

?Let's do some INS for Week 14

  • Bengals WR Donald Lee (foot) is probable for Week 14, the Bengals' official website reports. Not much fantasy impact here but I am sure Bengals QB Dalton is glad to have him back
  • Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin (finger) was limited in practice Friday, Dec. 9, and is probable for Week 14.
  • Cincinnati Bengals RB Cedric Benson (foot) practiced in full Friday, Dec. 9, and is probable for Week 14.
  • Atlanta Falcons RB Michael Turner (groin) is listed as probable for Week 14 against the Panthers.
  • New York Jets RB Shonn Greene (rib) practiced in full Friday, Dec. 9, and is probable for Week 14.
  • NYG RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) was listed as limited at practice Friday, he is probable for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys
  • Cardinals RB Beanie Wells (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against San Francisco, AZCardinals.com's Darren Urban reports The 49ers have yet to allow a rushing touchdown this year, but perhaps the expected absence of Patrick Willis (hamstring) will give Wells a shot at changing that.
  • Colts TE Dallas Clark (fibula) will return to action this week against the Ravens, according to ESPN's John Clayron. interesting...... timely
  • NYG WR Mario Manningham (knee) practiced again on Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday Night Footbal

Rams QB situation is best described as a Mash unit.

Feeley (thumb) did not practice Friday, St. Louis Post-Dispatch writer Jim Thomas reports. Analysis: Sam Bradford (ankle) also missed practice, leaving Tom Brandstater and Kellen Clemens to split first-team reps.

Bradford (ankle) did not practice Friday, St. Louis Post-Dispatch writer Jim Thomas reports. Analysis: Bradford remains no better or worse than questionable for Monday, but his status will immediately and reliably fall into doubt if he doesn't practice Saturday. Tom Brandstater is the favorite to start if Bradford and A.J. Feeley (thumb) sit out against Seattle.

Sounds like Bradford will get the chance to test the ankle Monday night....

  • The Broncos list RB Willis McGahee (knee) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears, Lindsay Jones of The Denver Post reports. McGahee, who practiced Friday after sitting out two practices with his knee injury, has said he plans to play Sunday. Broncos Beat Writers sound pretty confident Willis will play but being a 4 pm game..... Yikes!
  • The Vikings have listed RB Adrian Peterson (ankle) as questionable for Week 14 against the Lions. Analysis: Peterson personally called himself "80 percent" Friday and said he's willing to take a painkilling shot to play. Coach Leslie Frazier hinted that he already "knows what they'll do" with Peterson on Sunday, although he isn't telling. Great, just what Peterson don't need We probably won't known for sure until around noon ET Sunday. Toby Gerhart would start if Peterson can't.

Here is another take that I found: Adrian Peterson (questionable, ankle) conceded Friday that he may have trouble making cuts against the Lions if he's active for Week 14. "I feel like I'm still kind of moving fast, but then again, it's a little gallop," said Peterson. "I don't mind. If I'm feeling good, I don't mind running down the field Sunday, galloping, as long as I get to the end zone." Peterson confirmed that the Vikings -- not him -- will decide whether he plays against Detroit. He practiced on a limited basis on both Thursday and Friday.

For you IDP owners LB P.Willis is very doubtful with hammy issues

[h=2]Week 14 Notable GTD[/h]

Giants SS Kenny Phillips (MCL sprain) has been ruled out for Week 14. Analysis: Phillips did not make the Giants' trip to Dallas, and is considered week-to-week. Graded out as the eighth-best safety in the league through the season's first 13 weeks by Pro Football Focus, Phillips should be replaced by a combo of Deon Grant and Tyler Sash. Almost as effective in coverage as he is against the run, his absence is good news for both Tony Romo and DeMarco Murray.

Patriots SS Patrick Chung (foot) has been ruled out for Week 14 against the Redskins.

Brandon Spikes (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Redskins, ESPN Boston reports.

Charles Woodson and AJ Hawk are reportedly playing today.

Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin (shoulder, hamstring) is expected to be a game-time decision for Week 14 after he was downgraded to questionable for the game. Analysis: There was a setback with the hamstring and the Friday 'probable' listing is out the window. The Philly media is not optimistic and you should plan to go with someone else.

Lavelle Hawkins could end up being a starting wide receiver against the Saints on Sunday if Nate Washington, GTD (ankle sprain) is unable to play. Analysis: Hawkins has been playing well the last few weeks as the third receiver. It is tough to anticipate the numbers he could put up as a starting receiver against the Saints. Washington has not practiced all week with a high ankle sprain and is listed as questionable for Sunday. The running game has been the primary source of offense for the Titans in the last few weeks which could also keep Hawkins' numbers down.
