About time the NFL figured out that an average RB behind a great offensive line fares much better that a great RB behind a lousy one.

It's been a recent trend to look earlier for good linemen earlier. Last year there was even some teams that moved up to grab good O linemen. Take the Niners who grabbed an OT early two years ago (?) I was under the impression that they wanted to grab another OT last year. Some teams moved up last year to get OTs and I think it caught the Niners a little off guard. This year they have two first rounders and I have them taking OT Trent Williams with their second pick in round one (16). But if such move up for OT trickery goes on again don't be surprised if they use their first first rounder (13) on Williams and go best available at pick 16.

Well Coach, I hope this draft comes to fruition for the Niners. I would love a first round of Haden and Williams. Just what the doctor ordered.............

Well, in the case of SF in 2009, teams moving up caused Crabtree to drop to them at 10. That was a pretty big windfall.

If Haden is off the board at 13, they wouldn't hesitate to take Williams at that spot and then hope that Earl Thomas is still on the board at 18. I would love to see them take a Williams/Iupati combo, but Thomas seems too good to pass up if he's there. Safeties have to cover in the pass happy NFL of today, and he sounds like an Ed Reed clone. Hard to pass on that...........

It was quite a pleasant surprise to have Crabtree fall to them and they had to jump on that!! That will be a rewarding pick for years to come.
:thrash:

I think Seattle is more likely to grab an OT at 6. I think Buloga is their guy. I would love to see SF get him at 13 but I think hell would have to drop to 31 degrees first.

It's true, I have heard recent intel to that effect. I put this together about a week ago. A lot of draft intel has become available since then. I could have revised and revised constantly but no one here has put one out, so far.
So I figured better to just post it and let you guys chew on it rather than refine and not get it done at all.

In true Sports Outlaw tradition all I can say is, if you don't like my list, Where TF is yours!?!? :)

Coach throwing it down...............:scared:

Actually, I liked you draft overall. I'll be putting one out soon, and you can tear the Shula league champ (had to slide that in there) apart..............:homer:
