if anyone could shed some insight on this I'd be grateful.

I have Vick and Cutler on my team. Cutler is worthless this season so I just picked up Cassel to get me through the next few weeks. Cutler and Vick both remain on my bench. Is Vick going to get another start this season? Right now I think my plan is to keep him until after the Eagles bye week next week. If he doesnt start that week, I think I'm going to dump him. Any other suggestions?

I do not think anyone knows that right now. We will get a better picture this weekend. But it Kolb does not get a win and put on a very good performance. At least 275 Yards 3TD, 1-Int, 0 fumbles, then you could expect Vick to come back.
 
who the hell knows with Andy Reid.

With Cassel for the next few weeks, I would not be too worried, he has some good match ups which will give you time until the eagles bye week. Then just see who starts in week 9 and decide from there. I do think I read some where that Vick was going to be the backup this weekend, so that means his health may not be an issue from week 9 going forward, so you probably want to hang on and wait patiently for now.

I may cut Cutler though, Cassel gets Jags-Buffalo-Raiders next 3 weeks. Unless you personally think he sucks or have some belief in Cutler, I would ride Cassel until end of week 9, and then you will know what the eagles are doing (Until Andy randomly changes his mind).

Just think its a waste using 2 bench spots on QBs with like so many potential RBs/WRs right now available in so many leagues. (Obviously depends on your league too)
 
While Reid had said Vick would be under cener when healthy just after the injury he's given no such assurances since Kolb came in with the hot hand. Personally I think Kolb is the QB there now for as long as he's winning and playing really good QB. But I do expect Vick to get a crack at the job again when Kolb struggles as he surely will at some point. Unless I had them both on my team I'd stay away from that QB situation. If I had them both on my roster I'd be a happy man.
 
having watched all the games, and i admit i'm biased, but i can't imagine that andy reid doesn't put vick back in. kolb looked pretty good last week but even that performance was not the lights-out that vick was playing before his injury.

i would sit tight until after the bye. if vick isn't starting week 9 i would dump him

I think if Vick is totally healthy he comes back and takes over. The Oline is awful. God Awful. He gives the most mobility to get free and make plays.

Kolb will be the Qb eventually, but I think a healthy vick takes over again this year.
 
(FFChamps) Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback, Michael Vick, was a full participant in practice for the first time since injuring his ribs in Week 4.
 
I also had Vick, Kolb and Cutler and I also needed the roster space.

I opted to cut Kolb loose last week and take my chances with Vick.

That STILL leaves me with 2 QBs with the same bye but I figure I'll grab "Best Available" when the time comes. May or may not shake Cutler off at that time.

I think it was too early to cut Kolb but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Risk are part of this game.
