Why have Bruce Allen if they are letting Shanny outrank him AND make the football decisions....

Not sure I can envision the "HOGS" as a finesse team.

Good luck to Shanny though, and be sure not to draft any Washington RBs next year.

I like the move myself. Bruce Allen is a key piece in that puzzle. If Shanny has enough input with Allen and get what he wants, It could be good. But also Allen will have to be able to make Snyder less interfering than is normally so. That is a big job if the Skins are to be successful and Allen can't make it play out that way then it is still trouble at the top in the Skins org. Finding a great Defensive co-ordinator is another big puzzle piece as there is some good talent on the D side. Will this meld into an effective org.? Really hard to tell, But I like the pieces of puzzle much better now.

This may be a set up like Philly.

Reid basically controls who they draft or go after as FAs. Heckert the GM basically handles the contracts and business side. It is one reason Philly is so successful...as they know value and how to handle the salary cap thanks to Heckert and his crew. I hope we don't lose Heckert to Cleveland.
