What's the status on Harry Douglas?

2/9/2010 The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith said WR Harry Douglas (knee) continues to rehab the torn anterior cruciate ligament he suffered this season. Smith said Douglas is close to trying to do some work on the field.

Douglas was projected last season to be a sleeper for fantasy teams as he is opposite Roddy White in the Falcon offense. This season could certainly also bring promise to the young wideout who is looking to rebound from his injury marred 2009 season. The sky is the limit for Douglas who could be the missing element for Atlanta's passing attack.

That's great news! I missed me some Douglas this past season. Although considering the lack of offensive fireworks for the Falcons this past year Douglas really missed a great opportunity to shine. Next year hopefully.
