Merry Christmas

Only in one league, my team ( 7 keepers) stinks, my draft was distracted, and work has held me captive for the last 3 months and at least the next 2 to come.

I won't be able to watch the games (uninterrupted) for at least a month.

Still....I get a little tingly as the season starts but not the indescribable jubilation that I've experienced in the past.

Hope everyone has a great season and I really AM looking forward to the increased activity on the forum.

Well allow me to spread a little of my own fantasy football season cheer with my own story real quick...

I got married April 2012. By the time the 2012 season started, my wife had totally put the clamps down on my football viewing time. She had no time for football or for allowing me to enjoy it. While I still participated in all my leagues, the mere glance at my phone for updates was met with hateful glances from her.

By week 8 of the season I discovered that my new bride has been having an affair. Such a sweet heart. I went thru the rest of the season in agonizing pain followed by a messy divorce. Certainly not my finest hour.

Long story short, my fantasy football fun was all but erased. It was such a total buzz kill.

But just like Christmas, there's always another chance just a year away. Now here we are, a mere 10 hours from Sunday of week 1. I'm now divorced and have found myself a new lady. She has 3 fantasy teams herself, is a die hard Chargers and K St fan, and can't wait to watch football. Life is good!! This is my time now!!

Will be watching the games at Ceasars Palace in the plush chairs with waitress service..............

My son lost the coin flip so he was up at 5 am to grab us one of the prime tables. On my way to relieve him right now and cash my tickets from yesterday. Oregon covers big and Arizona rolls over UNLV. That one was almost too easy as UA was only a 12 point favorite and it was 45-6 at the half. Won a baseball bet Friday night as my Giants manned up for a night, so 3 for 3 going into the heavy betting today. Bengals, Bucs, Rams and Falcons are my main targets this morning, so hopefully, the streak continues................

Best sports day of the year IMO so good luck to everyone and enjoy the day. Go NINERS!

Have fun "E" but I can't wish you good luck with those Dirty Birds unless by target you mean you're aiming to shoot them down. Dove season did open here so you're free to fire away.

I might have well as taken that. Wouldn't have been any worse off........

Not a good day gambling. Took the Bucs in the early game. Loss. Did a 4 team parlay and missed all three of the games today (Texans Monday). Loss
Took the Giants to cover 3.5. They turn it over 6 times. Loss. Took the Giants in the 2nd half at even. Loss.

Lost what I won the two days before, so about even, give or take some money for juice. Had a friggin great time though and my Niners came through.

Ready to go home tomorrow though. 3 days in Vegas is plenty for me...............
