McFadden might be on the block

(Rotoworld) Appearing on Mike and Mike in the Morning Friday, ESPN's Chris Mortensen mentioned Darren McFadden as a player that might surprisingly be traded over the next three days.

I have mixed feelings, so far McFaddy has been a real disappointment and is not living up to expectations.

I would like to see what D-Mac can do when healthy and given the ball on a more consistent basis, part of McFadden's problem is not entirely his fault, it's Jamarcus Russell, so to accomplish this simple task of running the ball better is to get the passing game going.

I would like the Raiders to keep him, i think the 2010 season will be a lot better now that Russell wont be the starter.

Pretty hard to get any kind of running game going when the defense knows it doesn't have to worry about the QB throwing the ball to anyone. I'm gonna have to agree, 2010 will be a lot better for him without jackass "throwing" the ball.

Sort of disappointing, but still 3.9 yards per carry. Been on the field banged up some. As previously stated, running the ball without a real passing threat to accompany him. Some of the playcalling I saw wasn't very suitable to running production. I would rather see the Raiders keep McFadddy, myself.

As a Dmac owner, I would LOVE for them to trade him. In a more stable offense we may be able to find out if he can get it done at this level or not.

I didnt see any play calling suitable for anything period. :D

Cant establish any kind of running or passing attack when the opposing defense know's that if they blitz the play is over before the snap.

How about Dallas?? Marion Barber for McFaddy? Barber/ Bush for the Raidiers. An almost all Arkansas Backfield for Jerry Jones. :D

LOl, All you have to do is blitz, run or pass it doesn't matter.:D

He's been dinged up every year, been buried in a 3-man commitee, and suffered through 2 seasons of Russell and a crap O-line.
The fact of the matter is that you don't lose that much talent overnight. Beneficial trade targets would include New England, Seattle, and Cleveland. He could be the #1 or 1a in all 3 places and inject a wildcat option that neither of those 3 have right now.

I agree. I think this is more of a product of one of histories worst offenses.

I think with both Seattle and Cleveland passing on CJ Spiller in the draft, they become more interested in McFadden.

I like McFadden, he's in a bad situation over in Oakland, on any other team I think he flourishes.

How are any of these arguements for McFadden any different than an arguement you could make for Michael Bush? I think Bush is a UFA next year anyway. Why would they trade McFaddy instead of Bush?

IMO the opposite needs to happen

Trade McFadden and keep M.Bush

Reasoning: Can most likely get a lot more trade value out of D-Mac, M.Bush could be just as productive if giving the chance as the feature back
