Matt suffered a sublixation of the knee he dislocated his knee and it popped back in. Matt will have an MRI and to see if he has any damage.

Damn! The kid was just starting to come into his own...and Detroit has been competitive for it. Hope this isn't major. I have done this myself in highschool...and played shortly after..but my knee was never the same after.

Happened to me twice. The first time it popped back in the 2nd it didn't and dislocating my knee is the worst pain i have felt in my life. I wanted to die.

Stafford is day to day so Im assuming no damage to the knee.

Rookie quarterback Matthew Stafford says he didn't practice Thursday and hasn't been cleared to run because the Detroit Lions want to reduce swelling in his right knee.

"I don't know, we'll see," Stafford said when asked if he will play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Stafford not cleared by Lions to practice, run on injured right knee
