Matt Ryan: Pro Bowl QB?

(nfl.com)With Falcons QB Matt Ryan entering his third year in the NFL, WR Roddy White made a bold prediction about his quarterback Wednesday. "I'm making a prediction: Pro Bowl," White said. "I think he's capable of doing that and this is going to be the year that puts him over the top."

Notice the subliminal message to fantasy owners from Roddy White? In order for Ryan perform "over the top" he has to have a WR (or TE) opposite the turf to catch his rockets. I think his statement says as much about Ryan's potential as it does Roddy's confidence in the team cohesiveness and in his personal talents.

Atlanta as a whole has been on my radar for a few year now. I don't see that changing this year.

I'm not ready to climb on this band wagon just yet.

Falcons & Panthers duel for last place in the South.

Say what? What you smokin? No way does TB finish ahead of Atlanta. Hindering a season ending injury to any key player from any of the 4 teams in the division, it will finish like this..........1 Saints 2 Atlanta 3 Carolina/TB 4 Carolina/TB

Carolina/TB will be fighting for the cellar position, with i'm kinda half thinking TB will finish in 3rd. But it doesn't matter, 'cause if your not first your last.

rotoworld,
The Falcons are increasing their no-huddle repertoire from 10-12 plays to about 30.

Matt Ryan has a better handle on the offense, can better read opposing defenses, and now knows when to attack, so the Falcons are giving him more responsibility. Somewhat of a post-hype candidate this season, Ryan is a good bet to increase his numbers across the board.
