Matt Ryan has finished as the #8 QB each of the last 2 seasons. He is a very solid starter on your fantasy team.....but will he ever be more? Can he take it to the next level and join the Elite or is he in the you get what you see category? Can Ryan jump into the top 3-5 QB's this season?

With the 2 weapons he has at WR and dump off passes increasing to Rogers out of the backfield I think he can move up a bit but joining the 4 or so elites I strongly doubt as long as Turner gets the red zone chances and that won't change this season.

I think Ryan is about at his limit. I'm sure he might have a little better year this year but i see him hovering around the same stats for years to come. He's not "outstanding" but he's consistent. He is a great leader and a good fit for his team.

I think I'm right on with your feelings. I never see him going into the top 5 on a consistent basis. Maybe a fluke year here or there, but for the most part I think what you have seen is what you get with him.

I have to agree with JJ and Miller here. Until we see a committment to more passing, and Ryan able to carry the team in big games....I think he has hit his top potential. Now, that being said, I have heard rumblings in ATL that they plan to do more passing, taking more advantage of White, Jones, Gonzales and Co. and take more carries from Turner. I will believe it when I see it though....

Could this be because Atlanta knows that Turner is nearing the end and they are preparing for the next phase?

I have little doubt that you're right there Miller. No other RB on the roster is built to carry the load that the Burner has carried. Hell few in the last 4 or 5 years have. Quiz is going to turn a few heads this year but unless he's hurt Turner will still be a serviceable RB 1 this season based upon his red zone work.
