  • The Star Telegram reports Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones reiterated that has no interest in signing free agent WR Matt Jones (Jaguars)

This suprises me a little. I feel he would be a good fit there, but what do I know? I am not talking about the willingness to take another look PacMan either. I don't know if I believe Jerry in this case. What do the have:
Roy, crayton, Hurd, and Austin? Jones would look pretty good in that mix, and he is free and clear........right?

I believe his last incident was a violation of his parole with beer at a golf course, and our level handed commisioner said there would be no additional NFL sanctions. he served his drug games last year. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Our View: Matt Jones aka "Dr. Rockzo" catches a break here. Jones violated the drug program when he drank alcohol during an outing. Jones has been fined $50,000 but is appealing the fine. This news may help him catch on with another team before training camp.

With Matt Jones' size, athleticism, and above average ability to catch with his hands he would be an excellent position receiver on the right team.

Teams like Chicago, Minnesota, Tampa, Washington, Tennessee, Cleveland, or St Louis could use a guy like Jones (if he can stay out of trouble).
