Looks like Mathews might be out several weeks, is Tolbert a good start for the next several weeks?

I say yes... but the Chargers O line is not that good. I will give him a chance this week and go from there. Also Sproles and Gates will be more involved.

Love Tolbert while Mathews is out. While the o-line isn't great when you're 245lbs you can create your own holes if defenses are forced to play honest. With Rivers and gates every defense has to respect the pass.

(RotoWire) Mathews (ankle) is almost certain to be inactive on Sunday against the Seahawks, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Analysis: The rookie tailback, who suffered a high ankle sprain against Jacksonville this past Sunday, missed Thursday's practice and has been walking with a protective boot. Mathews maintains that he can play, but the Chargers are going to play it safe with their new feature back.

I was reading reports when he first sprained his ankle and they were speculate several weeks but it is probably just week 3. Does Tolbert have any value even with Mathews healthy?
