Marvin Harrison - Where does he end up?

Where does everyone think he will ultimately end up this season? Anyone thing he is done? Read today that there are some rumors that KC may be interested in bringing him in with a low salary, high incentive deal. I think this makes sense. If not KC, where else does he fit?

I've never fully understood this. Marvelous must be extremely pissed at Indy. I've tried to get the scoop on him around here, but no one seems to know. I would've thought that Marvelous would come back to Indy for a low salary high incentive deal before going to KC. I think he's done. There's a reason no one is calling him. If there weren't knee issues I would've thought Chicago, Tennessee or even Houston would've made sense. Marvelous opposite AJ in Houston would be good for Harrison. I just think he's done. It sucks, but that's how it seems to me.

Appears he would be to much of a splash for Detroit to pursue.

Lining him across from The Freak would be a nice look and isn't that much farther north than Indy was.

That would move Bryant to their #3 where he belongs and would allow time to see whether Derrick Williams will be more than a special teams player.

Wouldn't shock me to see him end up in Tennessee. Remember, they were supposedly involved with TO at one point and with Collins at QB and a defense that isn't getting any younger, their window may be a short one.

I can't imagine he's done yet unless he decides it for himself.

One thing about Marvin that everyone seemed to overlook. He wasn't one of the so called "nice guys" that everyone kind of made him out to be. He worked very hard and he demanded equal efforts in return, and there is nothing wrong with that. I can almost guarantee you that he left Indy no option for a low salary deal. He was no talk, all business, and I found that to be the refreshing part about him amongst all of the other prima donna wr's.

Of course. I just can't believe that he would go to KC for low salary high incentive (as suggested in previous post) instead of Indy. I've watched Marvelous since the day he was drafted, I know exactly what he is. You're right, he wasn't one of the nice guys, but that doesn't mean that Indy is still not the best option for him. Obviously, teams are not banging down his door to sign him. I think his pride will not let him come back to Indy and I don't think he'll find an opportunity as good as Indy and I don't think anyone will pay him what he's looking for. I think he's done and I don't mean he won't sign some one year deal or some shit like that (although he might just retire if he doesn't get what he wants - he is a no nonsense guy). I mean, I think the reason teams haven't signed him already is that there are still issues with the knee and his quickness and cutting. I don't think he produces any better than he did last year - that's what I mean by he's done. He was never the fastest or the strongest, but he was quick as hell and his cuts were rediculous. He doesn't have that anymore.

not sure what's up with his knees, but jacksonville would seem like a nice landing spot to me . . . ;)

no one even mentions philly? he is from the city of brotherly love, after all. not that i think it'll happen :)

I thought that early, before they drafted Maclin. Once they drafted Maclin, I considered them out of the possibility. I remembered that he was from Philly and that he actually played with McNabb in College for a year or two.

If he went to Jacksonville they could buy ice in bulk and save money.

  • ESPN's Paul Kuharsky reports Jacksonville Jaguars HC Jack Del Rio said WR Torry Holt, who was icing a knee, got the day off because of a little swelling. Rookie WR Tiquan Underwood tweaked his hammy "a little bit" and could be shut down for the remainder of OTAs, which run into next week. DT John Henderson (shoulder) "doesn't feel like he's ready to go yet." "We've already talked enough about that subject," Del Rio said.
