Marion Barber Out On Monday Night WK3

Marion Barber (strained quad) was listed as questionable for Monday night and Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said the running back won't be active if he can only be used on a limited basis.

This doesn't sound too good. Being a Monday Night Game you probably shouldn't count on Barber. If you have Choice on your roster then you can just switch them out, other wise you could get stuck.

I am going on the assumption that Barber will not play, and regardless what Phillips says, if Barber is active, I still wouldn't expect a full workload from him.

While he might play, being a Monday night game, I simply wouldn't chance it.

As I suspected.....those who snagged up Choice must be pretty happy right now....especially if both Jones and Barber miss more time.


I also stand by what Mike and i said earlier...the better combo is Choice and Jones early....and then save Barber for late in game to just bludgeon the def. I wonder if Barber missing is why that idiot Garrett didn't run late in the game at teh goal line?
