SEA - OC Knapp will use a rotation at running back

Source: Clare Farnsworth, Seahawks.com

Clare Farnsworth, of Seahawks.com, reports that Seattle offensive coordinator Greg Knapp prefers a rotation at running back. Knapp said, "I'm a big believer in having two, if not three, backs involved as the season goes on."

Julius Jones has appeared to be a great value at his low ADP to some because he was assumed to be a starter, but this development should cap his value and make folks take a longer look at TJ Duckett as a late round pick. Justin Forsett is the deep sleeper name to remember. He's undersized, but that didn't stop him from tearing up the PAC 10 at Cal. Head coach Jim Mora specifically mentioned his belief in Forsett in addition to Jones and Duckett when asked about the running backs on the roster.

Ruskell still trying to show the world how smart he was when he drafted Duckett back in the day.

Jones may not be much, but he is the closest thing the Seahawks have to a real RB. The other 2 might spell him here and there to give him a rest, or on short yardage. That's about it though.

It sounds pretty smokey to me at this point also. Unless I see Duckett emerge as a dangerous weapon in the pre-season I would expect to see JJ as the primary ball carrier.

as many questions as people have about JJ.....Duckett is worse.....he is a short yardage specialist at that is it. He will vulture TD's, but to think he can do any more is not wise.

Now I will say I am intrigued about this Forsett guy, if for nothing more than there is an opportunity here as JJ is not a world beater that is for sure. But as long as JJ can do OK, he'll keep this job and get 60-65% of the carries.

For the Seahawks, RBBC=Running Back By concession.

I won't be targeting any Seahawks RBs.....

or any other Hawks, now that I think about it.
