Redskins | Could go after L. Johnson Mon Nov 9, 02:19 PM
Jason Reid, of The Washington Post, reports the Washington Redskins could go after free-agent RB Larry Johnson (Chiefs), who was released by the Kansas City Chiefs Monday, Nov. 9.
Our view: Redskins coach Jim Zorn said the team will likely sign a running back if RB Clinton Portis (concussion) can't play in Week 10. Johnson would be paid a prorated sum of $4.55 million base salary for the rest of the season. He is expected to clear waivers, and the Redskins may be one of the only teams considering him as a roster addition.
