Lions TEs: Pettigrew/Scheffler How About Both?

Tony Scheffler/ Brandon Pettigrew ...... Pettigrew/Scheffler. I am hearing that the Lions may use two TEs formations very extensively this season. Meaning you may not want to be the guy that drafts their #3WR this year. This could be an interesting development if true, something to keep an eye on during Camp and Preseason. :xpopcorn:

Lions beat writer Tom Kowalski expects Tony Scheffler "to be a big-time threat in Detroit" this season.

The Lions have spoken of using Scheffler in the slot ala Dallas Clark, and a potentially pass-first offense in Detroit would greatly benefit Scheffler's fantasy outlook. While he is unlikely to be more than a No. 3 offensive option behind Calvin Johnson and probably Jahvid Best, Scheffler is talented enough to outproduce nominal No. 2 receiver Nate Burleson.
