Lions Pick Up panthers LB Landon Johnson

Charles Chandler, of the Charlotte Observer, reports free-agent LB Landon Johnson (Panthers) has agreed to a one-year contract with the Detroit Lions, according to his agent, Andy Simms. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Anyone have an evaluation of Johnson? All I've heard is that he has played mostly special teams.
