Okay, lets look and see if we can decide early who should get who, and then who will really end up where.
So:
Qb's in draft that should go early and can contribute early: Luck, RG3, Tannehill(at least I put him there)
Qbs that are FAs(assuming no FT is used): Manning, Flynn, Orton, Brees(will be signed or tagged), Campbell, Young, Garrard, A.Smith(supposedly will be resigned by S.F or has already), Henne, Grossman.
Teams in dire need of Qb: Miami, Washington, Seattle, Indianapolis
Teams that have Qbs but may want upgrade: Denver, Cleveland, Jets, Cardinals, Chiefs, Jaguars
So who goes where???
Here is what I believe:
Indy takes Luck so that issue is dead and Manning goes free
Brees stays in New Orleans
Smith stays in San Fran
Manning - This is his call, he wants to win, and be in a system that will win. Looking at these teams my expectations would be going to - Seattle or Arizona or Denver. Those teams have pieces that are close to winning.
Flynn - he is a WC offense Qb. He does have arm. I see Miami to follow his OC, or Cleveland to compete with McCoy.
Cleveland has to go FA, as they need a top Wr or Rb, and RG3 will be drafted at 2 or 3 by whoever pays the trade price.
The one team that intrigues me is Kc. They are up and coming, and if they retain Bowe, if Charles comes back healthy...plus a young improving defense...they have tools. Not sure Cassell is the answer though.
Thoughts?
