Less and less feature backs

With more teams going to a 2 even 3 RB system how do you handle your redraft leagues. For me if I have 7th or later pick in a 10 team league or 10 or later in a 12 team I am taking 2 RB's with my first 2 picks. Anything before and you most likely will have a 2nd back who splits time or is unproven, so it would be wise to have a decent balance in fantasy production. Gone are the days when a good number of teams have a RB who will have 250 or more touches. With last year being a QB fantasy free for all there will be some interesting strategies being played out this season.

I disagree completely.

There aren't enough 250 carry backs to go around. If you aren't at least 3rd or 4th you'd better be grabbing top guys at other positions.

This is assuming that the top picks go to RBs, which is no guarantee.

I would ONLY take an RB with my top pick if I had 1 thru 4. After that it's a crap shoot.

I was just going from one of the leagues I was in but seemed to be a trend. I had 5th and 16th and picked R Rice and MJD with my first 2 picks and finished first. The guy who finished second had 9th and 12th pick and grabbed McCoy and M Turner. The top 4 picks in that same league who all Picked RB,s first and a so-so at the next position finished in the bottom four.
If I had a chance at getting lets say MJD and M. Lynch with my first 2 picks late1st early 3rd in a redraft I would definitely go for it
There should definitely be 2 great feature backs a person could pick up with a bottom of the draft picking position

Stud RB theory is a dying one due to this trend. I would look hard at other positions before I went RB/RB any more. YOu can find RB's with similar opportunities in the 4th rd to those you have to take in the 2nd. Fill other needs and play the RBBC approach yourself with your RB2.
